angelfish/starfish is probably just deadass immune bc of how uhhhhh deeply inhospitable her blood is esp with oripathy in her spine + seaborn blood (effectively her cells are constantly being burned away and then healing), unless it is like A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF BLOOD DIRECTLY INJECTED INTO HER BRAIN STEM. i am OOCly good for cangrande managing to have an effect anyway but it would have to be like a really concentrated effort. like a lotta lot of blood. this would be whether she is depowered or not just bc this is a physiological thing with her.
i'm going to go with "yes but cangrande has to put a medium effort into it when shiruler is powers on bc shiruler is has some resistance to poisons". if he is depowered into human levels u have my permission to go to town
